Registration – Qulliq Sale

Join us on July 5th, 2024 at 2 PM Est-3:30 Est for the Virtual Qulliq Sale, hosted on Zoom. The Qulliq, was used traditionally as an oil lamp used for light, cooking over, drying clothes and warmth. Today, Inuit still use it for these purposes and also to host and hold significant meetings and healing sessions. The Qulliq holds a significant place in Inuit culture, symbolizing hope, community, and resilience.

Each Qulliq is handcrafted with care, showcasing the artistry and craftsmanship of Inuit artists from Inuit Nunangat.

What to Expect During the Sale:

Each Qulliq is assigned a number from 1 to 20 and displayed in order of increasing value.

You will have the opportunity to view the Qulliit 10 minutes before the sale begins.

Qulliit are available on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve your Qulliq, quickly type the Qulliq number in the chat and unmute yourself to announce your purchase.

During the sale, you can request the demonstrator to bring the Qulliq closer to the camera and ask any additional questions you may have.
